Meet Chris Gerono, a seasoned fly fishing guide whose passion for the sport has shaped his life for over 30 years. Every major decision he has made has been driven by his love for fly fishing.
With 23 years of guiding experience, including 14 years as a Fly Fishers International certified casting instructor, Chris has dedicated his career to pursuing trout and steelhead in some of the most renowned fishing destinations. He has spent most of his guiding years in Montana (including Yellowstone Park), Idaho, and Oregon, with additional experience in Colorado, Pennsylvania, and Alaska. A passionate fly tyer, he has developed unique fly patterns and a specialized fly tying base with three vices for step tying. In addition to guiding, he leads fly fishing retreats, schools, and classes, sharing his expertise with anglers of all levels.
