Chile
Most international flights arrive in Santiago (SCL) in the early morning hours so we recommend booking with one of the local hotels in Santiago and informing them of your early arrival so you can enjoy an afternoon/evening before taking the next leg of the trip to Patagonia. Please give us a call and we will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
Santiago
We recommend staying a day or two in Santiago and having a nice breakfast before heading to the airport to catch a mid-morning flight to Balmaceda. While in Santiago, you can enjoy some great local cuisines or even try out one of the local wineries in the area. Santiago is a big city with a lot to offer.
Patagonia
You will need to book a flight from Santiago (SCL) to Balmaceda (BBA) Patagonia and there are several commercial flights available. We will be eagerly awaiting your arrival at the Balmaceda airport and help you with your bags and usher you to the vehicle that will take you to the lodge. The trip from the airport is only about 40 minutes and you will get a chance to see the wonderful scenery that is Patagonia along the way.
Santiago
Santiago has plenty to do and one of the areas we enjoy is the Bella Artes district. There are many boutique and commercial hotels nearby to stay and lot’s to do during the day like taking a tour of Santiago street art or hoping on an electric bike tour of the city. The food options in and around the Bella Vista market are excellent . If you like cityscapes and views, take the tram to the top of Cerro San Cristobal. Get in touch with us to learn more.
